Meet the Principal

It is an absolute honor to serve as principal of Eugene Field Elementary—in the community I’ve always called home. As a proud Webb City native, this town means the world to me. The relationships, values, and experiences I gained growing up here shaped who I am, and it’s a true privilege to now give back to the place that gave so much to me.

With over a decade in education—as a PE teacher, coach, athletic director, and junior high assistant principal—I’ve seen firsthand the difference that passionate, intentional leadership can make. I believe every child has the potential to grow into greatness when surrounded by the right people, the right systems, and a supportive school community.

At Eugene Field, we’re building more than a school—we’re creating a place where kids feel safe, known, and excited to learn. Our staff is united in a shared commitment to be lifelong learners ourselves. We’re constantly refining our craft, collaborating as a team, and designing meaningful learning experiences that meet every student where they are and help move them forward.

I want to warmly welcome families to get involved in the life of our school. We believe that the success of students is a shared responsibility and hinges on a strong partnership. Thank you for trusting us to partner with you on your child’s journey—we don’t take that responsibility lightly.

We are all in—for every Cardinal, every day.

With gratitude,
Scott Roderique
